Busy doing ?????

Our 4th of July weekend started off going to the parade downtown. Teddy was in the parade with his Cub Scout troop. Joan and Grace went along in the parade. Teddy and Grace rode their bicycles, and Joan walked. They really had a great time.
Teddy wanted his hair to be Patriotic, so Aunt Misty helped him out. A photographer from the Tribune thought his hair was fantastic, so he wanted to take a picture. This photo was in the paper.

Most of the rest of the weekend was spent painting woodwork in the two bedrooms. Finally got done with both of them. The two side pictures above were painted by Don when he was a kid. I finally got them framed. The one in the middle was done by Don's cousin, Carolyn Blattel-Britton. Got it reframed. I love all three of these so much.
Got the storage unit from Target. They are Closetmaid. Love them.

On Sunday Mom and Dad came over to see the new steps, and loved them. Then we went out to The Cafe, for brunch. Then we drove around to show them where my cousin Beth lives. Just so happens she came out, so we got to see the inside of her beautiful home. We had such a wonderful time with Mom and Dad.

Monday, back to normal with the kids. Thank God for weekends.
